DB1++ Speaker:

Ten months of R&D and lengthy listening tests has facilitated the launch of the DB1+ reference mini monitor. The DB1+ is the worlds smallest transmission line design, with an effective line length of 1.5m in a tiny, heavily damped cabinet.

The strengths of the design are outstanding dynamics, exceptionally low distortion and depth of bass that would suggest a loudspeaker of dramatically larger proportions. The DB1+ has been designed for both the audiophile and the top end of the professional market such as broadcast & DVD authoring.

The DB1+ is ideal for inclusion within a surround system consisting of TB2+, FB1, GB1 & TLE1 Active sub as they all have identical tonal balance and dispersion characteristics producing a seamless surround effect. There are two options with the DB1+'s to allow you to plumb the depths of any stereo recording. Firstly, as with the multi-channel system, the addition of the Active TLE1 sub woofer will give you a seamless blend and real audiophile detail in the lower register. The second option is to add the XB1-P sub woofer. This is placed in line between the amplifier and DB1+'s. The highly accurate crossover network in the XB1-P filters all frequencies below 90Hz and directs to its own 3 inch dual voice coil driver, the remainder is then passed to the DB1+ making a very potent and high power handling combination.
